Meet Sarah
(aka. Speakeasy Marketing)
In a world of flashy ads and loud sales pitches, my approach to digital marketing isn’t about selling—it’s about building trust, creating meaningful connections, and helping you grow your business in a way that feels natural.
With over 7 years of experience in the digital marketing world, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide range of clients, from start-ups to large organisations. But no matter the size, my approach has remained the same: I’m not a fly-by-night marketing consultant — I’m an extension of your team, who genuinely cares about your business.
Just like a prohibition-era speakeasy, I operate quietly in the background, crafting strategies that get results without all the noise. No gimmicks. No smoke and mirrors. Just solid, personalised strategies that help you
speak easily with your audience, and generate results.
My experience
- Core roots in the agency world (particularly marketing & public relations), responsible for long-term client account management.
- Exposed to a wide variety of industries including IT, retail, education, and various trades such as construction & mechanical.
- I've worked with start ups, small & medium businesses and educational institutions.
- Start-to-end project experience with websites, ecommerce stores, media & marketing campaigns, paid ad campaigns, digital marketing course development & delivery, and more.
Getting personal
- I'm a mum of two kids (& therefore a part-time chauffeur / full-time cheerleader).
- I love to travel and always planning the next adventure... I was previously a travel agent for 12+ years!
- I'm a bit of an introvert, "could" be described as a nerd, and part-bookworm.
- I consider myself a gin connoisseur and possess too many bottles of gin (my love of gin + an appreciation of art deco style was part inspiration behind the 'Speakeasy' name).
The official stuff
- I'm a QUT Bachelor of Business graduate (double major in Marketing & PR).
- I've completed countless courses to upskill in digital marketing (Meta Blueprint, Google Digital Garage, Kaity Griffin Profitable Promotion, The Digital Picnic & more).
- Where I can, I get along to industry-related events to keep up to speed, like Digital Marketers Australia conferences.
